Science fiction has always decided who the future belongs to.
Chapter 006 hands that decision to the people the genre usually writes out. Twelve artists each build one artifact of the same future: a body remade for a planet that no longer keeps to seasons, a ritual for weather that lost its calendar, a machine that remembers a history someone tried to delete. You move through it for one night.
The future rehearsed instead of described — staged by artists working where performance meets biomaterials, hardware, and film, in a room New York doesn't yet keep for them.

Each box is half established artists, half emerging — headliners next to the people about to be. Every work is documented into the Artifact Index, openly, so a night that happens once stays on the record.
Established artists are invited; emerging artists come through an open call, peer review, and a vote from the Artifice community. Selection runs September–October 2026.
